Primary Transfer Feed Roller (Platen Roller)
Overview
Presses the Ink Ribbon and Transfer Film against the Printhead.
Control description
The up and down operation is controlled by the Platen Lift Motor (DM5).
In addition to the Primary Transfer Feed Roller (Platen Roller), the Platen Lift Motor (DM5) also
controls the up and down movement of the Film Nip Roller.
1. Up position: Primary Transfer Roller (Platen Roller) upward (release (uppermost)), Film Nip Roller
upward (release).
2. Home position: Primary Transfer Roller (Platen Roller) upward (release (intermediate)), Film Nip
Roller downward (nip).
3. Down position: Primary Transfer Roller (Platen Roller) downward (pressure), Film Nip Roller
downward (nip).
