Print Test U: Vertical color shifting
The following card can be printed from LCD menu: Adjustment >> Position >> Print Test U.
This card is used to check vertical color shifting. Here is how to use it.
Printed card shows 3 columns of lines printed with each panel in order to detect shifting from a panel to
another.
Check card and seek for the lines where black print covers exactly color print in each column. Once the
most perfect black line identified on the pattern, value of the “perfect” line can then be applied as Color
vertical shifting setting value.
If we zoom on previous example, we would notice:
“Perfect” line value has to be set as vertical color shifting value (Adjustment >> Position >> Color Shift
VTC).
