Reflective events:
: A reflective event, which is usually a non-APC connector.
Measurements for the event are all within the test limits.
: One or more measurements for the event exceeds the limit.
This event could also be a Ghost Source.
Non-reflective loss events:
: A splitter. The number on the splitter shows the split ratio.
: An APC connector or a splice. Measurements for the event
are all within the test limits. If the event has negative loss, it is a
Gainer. See page 437.
If Macrobend Detection is Off, this could be a bend. If the event
is a bend, and Macrobend Detection is On, the EventMap shows
the bend icon.
: One or more measurements for the event exceeds the limit.
: A bend with loss that exceeds a macrobend threshold. If
Macrobend Detection is Off, the EventMap shows the blue
circle shown above.
Note
A bend always causes a FAIL result. If you want a
PASS result for a link that has a bend, turn off
Macrobend Detection.
Hidden events:
: The event is hidden by a previous event.
The map shows a dotted line around hidden events and the
event that causes them to be hidden. The tester combines the
loss of all the events that are in the dotted line. To see the
