Real Time Trace

Tap the settings you want. You can scroll some columns to see
more settings. Table 15 on page 406 gives descriptions of the
settings.
Select the wavelengths to use for the test.
The SAVE SETUP button lets you save your settings:
Active: The tester saves the settings in the active test setup. If
the test was not a Manual test, the tester changes the active
Test Type to Manual.
Note
Active does not show if the wavelengths on the
screen (
) are not available in the active test
setup. For example, Active does not show when
you have the OptiFiber Pro HDR OTDR module
installed, but the active test setup is for an
OptiFiber Pro module.
New: The tester saves the settings in a new test setup that is
added to the project. The new setup is a Manual PON OTDR test
or a Manual OTDR test.
If you save your settings in a new test setup:
The tester uses your settings until you save the results or exit the
results screen then start a test from the home screen. Then the
tester uses the test setup it had before you changed the settings.
If you do not save your settings:
The tester uses your settings until you save the results or exit the
results screen then start a test from the home screen. Then the
tester uses the test setup it had before you changed the settings.
Tap TEST or press to do a test with the settings you
selected.
The PROGRESS screen shows Manual PON OTDR when the
tester uses your settings.
