9.2.2.10 Delete iSCSI Host
This function deletes an iSCSI host.
When an iSCSI host belongs to a host group, the iSCSI host can be deleted, irrespective of its
host affinity settings.
The procedure to delete an iSCSI host is as follows:
1 Select the iSCSI host to be deleted (multiple selections can be made) and click
[Delete iSCSI Host] in [Action].
→ A confirmation screen appears.
2 Click the [OK] button.
→ Deletion of the iSCSI host starts.
3 Click the [Done] button to return to the [Host] screen.
• Not all of the hosts can be deleted from a host group.
• When an iSCSI host does not belong to a host group, the iSCSI host, of
which host affinity settings have been configured, cannot de deleted.
When a host in the host group for which the host affinity settings are
already configured is deleted, the path from the host to the port is also
deleted.
An error screen appears in the following conditions:
• When the selected iSCSI host is the last host in a host port group
• When the selected iSCSI host does not belong to any host port
group and the host affinity setting has been configured for the
target FC host
• When the selected iSCSI host does not exist
