l Make sure you use Hillstone transceiver modules for the optical ports on Hill-
stone devices.
l To avoid dust falling into the QSFP+ socket, you should place a rubber dust
cap (originally in the accessory box) over the QSFP+ port.
40GE(QSFP+) Transceiver Module
To connect devices via the 40GE(QSFP+) transceiver modules, use the optical fiber with the
LC-type connector. SG-6000 X series supports three Hilltone 40GE(QSFP+) transceiver mod-
ules: TRAN-SR-QSFP+, TRAN-LR-QSFP+, and TRAN-QSFP+-SWDM4. All transceiver mod-
ules are hot-swappable.
