Notes:
l Make sure you use Hillstone transceiver modules for the optical ports on Hill-
stone devices.
l The default data rate of the SFP+ optical port is 10Gbps, which can be back-
ward switched to 1Gbps
l Before inserting the SFP transceiver module or the copper SFP module into
the SFP+ port, backward switch the default data rate of the SFP+ port,
which is 10Gbps, to 1Gbps. For more information about how to switch the
data rate of SFP+ port, see Copper SFP Compatibility.
l
To avoid dust falling into the SFP+ socket, you should place a rubber dust
cap (originally in the accessory box) over the SFP+ port.
10GE(SFP+) Transceiver Module
To connect devices via the 10GE(SFP+) transceiver module, use the optical fiber with the LC-
type connector. SG-6000 X series supports four models, namely, TRAN-SR-SFP+, TRAN-LR-
SFP+, TRAN-SFP+-LX40, and TRAN-SFP+-LX80. All transceiver modules are hot-swappable.
