1 Turn on the computer.
2 Download and install JRE.
If the computer does not have Java Runtime Environment, please down-
load and install it from the Java homepage (h
ttp://www.java.com/). (p. 130).
3 Install the application programs (p. 132).
(The necessary USB driver is also installed.)
1 Turn on the computer.
2 Turn on the instrument.
3 Connect the instrument to the computer with the supplied USB cable
(p. 134).
(Connect if using "3197 Communicator".)
4 Start the application programs.
