If the instrument begins to exhibit unusual behavior, refer to the "Before
returning for repair" (p. 164).
If the cause of the unusual behavior remains undetermined, perform a sys-
tem reset.
4.6 Initializing the Instrument (System Reset)
Move to the setting item.
Select the screen.

System reset initializes all settings to their factory defaults except for the display
language, phase names and phase color settings.
System reset also erases all measurement data in internal memory, and all data
displayed on screen.
