12. Close the top cover of the electron gun gently, and tighten the hexagon head screw
(indicated by an arrow in the figure below) using a provided hexagonal wrench.
Press the EVAC/AIR switch to evacuate the air. After completing evacuation, The
lighting pattern of the EVAC LED (blue) changes from blinking to lighting. In the next
step, perform beam axis alignment (see 5.2).
