2.12 Sequence of Operations
On Send:
1. Insert address and sequence fields.
2. Calculate and append CRC.
3. Do DLE-insertion.
4. Add packet header and footer.
On Receive:
1. Strip packet header and footer.
2. Do DLE-deletion.
3. Verify and strip CRC.
4. Verify and strip address and sequence fields.
