Configuring Switch B
1. Configure an MST region on the switch in the same way the MST region is configured on Switch
A.
2. Configure MSTP globally:
a. From the navigation tree, select Network > MSTP.
b. Click the Global tab.
c. Select Enable from the Enable STP Globally list.
d. Select MSTP from the Mode list.
e. Select the box before Instance.
f. Set the Instance ID field to 2.
g. Set the Root Type field to Primary.
h. Click Apply.
