With the brushes mounted, proceed as for a normal washing phase with "Program 1". Wash for a few
minutes, read and note the values of the two motors separately, check that the draw of the two brush motors
is more or less the same and that the sum of the values for the two motors is approximately equal to the
value read on the control panel display, see paragraph A1.1.
34a
If the values read respect the conditions described in point 34 and are between the minimum and maximum
values in the table below, restore the initial electronic and mechanical settings.
34b
If the values do not respect the conditions described in point 34 and are higher, check that the brushes do
not interfere with the head or head components when stationary or rotating, following impact between the
brushes and fixed components, attachment of damaged brushes, or an unsuccessful attachment operation.
34c
If the values do not respect the indications given in point 34 and are higher, the head and brushes are in
good condition and there is no friction or interference, Proceed to check the carbon brushes on the brush
motor drawing the most current (A), or both brush motors if both draw more current (A) than normal,
following the procedure described in paragraph A1.3.
34d
If the values do not respect those given in point 34 and are appreciably lower, the brush motors have begun
to demagnetise and will soon require replacement.
The motors may turn only when the brushes are not
mounted, or with programs with a very low brush pressure setting.
Important: set maximum pressure during testing
