A1.3 Checking and replacing the brush motor carbon brushes
The procedure to replace the brush motor carbon brushes is similar for the two motors
(BT 85 - BT 105), except that in the BT 105 version the air conveyor must be removed.
The procedure for accessing the carbon brushes on the BT 105 version is described below.
Disassembly

Move the machine to the tank draining area and empty the detergent and dirty water tanks.

Move the machine to a flat dry surface. The operation can be simplified by using an autolift if available.

Press the pedal A to put the parking brake on.

Press the button B to release the brushes.
5
Turn the ignition key to position "0".
6
Remove the brushes from under the head.
7
Unscrew the knob C by turning it anticlockwise to release the tanks. Raise the tanks.
8
Mark the position of the air conveyor D1 on the motor D with a felt pen.
