B2.6 Regulating the squeegee

Move the machine onto a flat dry area of floor.

Check that the squeegee blades are in good condition before regulating.

Wash a few metres in normal working conditions to position the squeegee blades in the drying phase.

Check that the entire length of the blade presses evenly on the floor with a suitable pressure.

The photograph below shows an example of the ideal condition.

If the blade presses evenly but with insufficient pressure, adjust the pressure by means of the knobs A.

Screw up the knob A to raise the squeegee towards the wheel mount, reducing the pressure
on the blade (-). Unscrewing it has the opposite effect (+).

Adjust the pressure on the blade using the two knobs A so that it is constant through the whole length.
