A4.3 Replacing the front and back flaps
The front flap prevents splashes of water and detergent from reaching the front motor wheel,
reducing its drive power and dirtying the entire drive group with detergent. You do not have to
remove the head to replace the flap.
Disassembly
1
Proceed to remove the brushes and keep the head raised.
2
Identify the nine bolts A (for version 850, eleven for version 1050) which, together with the flap retainer plate
B, fix the flap to the head and unscrew them.
Reassembly
1
To mount the new front flaps perform the disassembly operations in reverse.
2
Do not screw up the nuts A too tightly to avoid distorting the flaps.
During washing, the rear flap prevents splashes of water and detergent from dirtying the back
of the machine and previously washed and dried parts of the floor.
Disassembly
1
Proceed as for the front flaps (eight bolts for the 850 version, seven for the 1050).
Reassembly
1
To reassemble, proceed as for the front flaps.
