D3.2 Disassembling and/or replacing the chem-dose pump
Disassembly
1
Move the machine onto a flat dry area of floor.

Brake the machine by pressing the pedal to put the parking brake on.

Place the ignition key in the “0” position and disconnect the batteries from the main machine wiring.

Remove the bumpers, footplate and front panel.
5
Identify the chem-dose pump on the right of the front chassis under the footplate.

Electrically disconnect the pump by disconnecting the two red cylindrical terminals A.
7
Remove the two glass detergent intake and outlet tubes.
8
Unscrew the two screws B at the bottom under the pump fixing the pump to the chassis.
9
Replace the pump with a new one.
Reassembly
1
To fit the new pump perform the disassembly operations in reverse.

Screw up the two screws B with moderation.
3
Connect the two red cylindrical connectors A. They can only be connected one way.
4
On the new chem-dose pump, remember to regulate the quantity of detergent to be mixed with the
water as on the pump replaced.
