22
To avoid problems caused by the intermittent reading, unreliable for the test, press the button M+ and adjust
the quantity of water to position four (four LEDs on) or above.
23
The reading on the digital multimeter display should be approximately the voltage read on the battery poles or
on the display 36 ± 1 V.
24
If the voltage remains the same from position four (four LEDs on) to position six (six LEDs on) and is within
the value of 36 ± 1 V, this means that the control panel circuit board is operating correctly.
25
Proceed to verify the output voltage of the detergent pump.
Checking operation of the detergent pump
The CT 230 mounts a centrifugal detergent pump. The water or detergent is taken up by the
front and central part of the pump and is delivered from the side of the pump by means of the
impeller blades and scroll shaped casing. It has a flow rate of about 10-11 litres/minute and a
head of about 0.1 bars.
26
Move the negative probe F of the digital multimeter (black) from pin D3 on the red wire to pin D4, wired with a
blue wire (this pin controls the detergent pump). Leave the positive probe H (red) in the fast-on cover I
connected to the key contact.
27
Proceed to control the absence of voltage when detergent delivery is not commanded from the control panel
(no LED lit).
28
If the voltage value read on the digital multimeter display is not significant or equals zero, functioning is
normal.
