A4.1 Replacing the brush centring flaps
The importance of the brush centring flaps to washing is only relative as their function is to
facilitate centring of the brush under the head. They are not liable to wear but should
nevertheless be replaced when they begin to deteriorate. You are recommended to replace
both the centring flaps (right and left).
Disassembly
1
To replace the flaps, you do not need to remove the head. It is sufficient to remove the complete brush
centring frame A (A = A1 - A2).
2
Unscrew the two screws B (B1- B2) fixing the frame A to the brush plate, paying attention to the rotation
bushing C and washer D.
3
Unscrew the six screws E per frame and remove the flaps F.
4
Replace the flaps with the new ones.
Reassembly
1
To mount the new brush centring flaps and frame A, perform the disassembly operations in reverse. Tighten
the nuts E with moderation to avoid distorting the flaps.
