Note: Dry Blocks cannot be utilized for Verification to manufacturers specifications (0.1°C) as
they do not have the necessary Uncertainty.
If a user’s verification strategy is to perform a periodic pre-Verification and post Verification of
the process qualification, then the Verification criteria is usually < 0.5°C. In this case the
above-mentioned baths or Kaye Dry Blocks may be utilized as they provide adequate
uncertainty as compared to the criteria.

Note: The sensor tips of bendable or flexible Loggers should be fully inserted to the bottom of
the well. Rigid Loggers with shorter tips must utilize a liquid bath.
Pressure Sensors
To verify the pressure sensors, meet the calibration accuracy specification, the pressure
calibration equipment must have an accuracy of 0.15% full scale (of 5 bar) or better.
