To specify the Lethality calculation, enter the following parameters:
• Base Temperature
• Z value
• D value if enabled in preferences (default one minute)
• Calculate Lethality (dropdown includes “During Entire Cycle” and “During Exposure
Cycle”).
Note: Defining of an Exposure Cycle is only required if lethality is defined “During Exposure”.
Saturation Temp / Pressure of Steam

The Saturation Pressure of Steam is calculated based on a selected temperature sensor. It
calculates what the ideal temperature should be for a saturated steam condition. The
calculation is then compared to an actual pressure sensor.
The Saturation Temperature of Steam is calculated based on a selected live Pressure Logger.
It calculates what the ideal pressure should be to for a saturated steam condition. The
calculation is then compared to an actual temperature sensor.
Note: If a Temp / Pressure Logger is not specified in the Sensor Configuration screen, then
the Saturation Temperature of Steam cannot be defined.
When all calculation definitions are completed, select Qualification Parameters to enter the
Qualification parameters screen.
