2 Additional Information
Edit the Host Name
You can enter the host name in a special dialog for text input.

•
Select a character by moving the high light with the cursor keys, (or the
modify knob on an 8164B/LAN), then press the [Select] soft key.
•
Delete the last character using the [Delete] soft key.
•
The [OK] soft key is disabled until the value in the editor is valid.
•
If you try to enter a character which would create an invalid host name,
the instrument beeps.
•
If enter an empty host name, the host name is reset to its default value.
