In this screen the connection mode can be adjusted. If a another value than
"1" is entered, the teat cups will be lifted and transported to the centre.
The search method is used to search the teats. The following options are
available:
Standard (0): if front and rear teats are detected during the first scan,
additional laser scanning will not be necessary.
Always rear scan (1): The milking robot will always do a rear scan to find the
rear teats.
Not used.
If the robot uses the cow data available in the robot without communicating
with the VCPC (Cattle Code Process Controller), a cow will be milked again
when the pre-set percentage of the total number of milkings per day is
achieved. Example:
150 milkings x 30% = 45. After 45 cows have been milked, the cow in
question can be milked again.
After milking the teats are sprayed with a spraying agent. The spraying agent
is sprayed onto the teats in a pulsating manner. Dosing should be so
selected that a droplet just keeps hanging from the teat tip.
Standard (0): Teat spraying with flat beam nozzle.
New program (1): Individual teat spraying with cone spray nozzle. New
program sprays the preset percentage of 1 second per teat (40% = 400 ms/
teat).
During pre-treatment the teats are treated a few times by the cleaning rollers.
The number of times can be adjusted. Adjustment should be selected in such
a way that an average cow is pre-treated properly. With a view to optimum
robot operation, the cows resting place must be clean and dry.
