Problem 6
Engine will not go to high idle.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
No signal from hand or foot throttle; No power to control module;
Engine speed sender is damaged; Lack of supply fuel.
Check for 12 volts DC at electronic fuel control
module or engine control module. (See Test 22.)

Check for 500 ohms at hand or foot
throttle potentiometer.

Replace hand or foot
throttle potentiometer
Repair or replace wiring, EFC
module or data link connector.
Check or replace engine transducer or wiring.
Check wiring to and from EFC
acturator or data link connector.
Check for 2 volts AC or more at TB1-5 and TB1-6 (TB1-C and
TB1-D on C-260 Engine) on engine control module.

Check wiring.

Do hand and foot throttle operate correctly?

Check relay operation.
Check for voltage at TB1-3 and TB1-4 (TB1-A and TB1-B
on C-260 Engine) on engine control module.
