• In clamshell operation, the PC allows two drums to be
operated at the same time with one control handle and
turns on the power down and closing features of this
mode. The PC operates the EDC and engages and
disengages the clutches when the drums are operated
in free fall mode. The PC controls the park brakes.
• In luffing jib mode with free fall, the PC disables free fall
function for the luffing drum.
• In crane setup mode, the PC commands the swing
function to operate at 1/2 normal swing speed and does
not free coast, the boom-up limit is bypassed, the seat
switch does not have to be activated, functions as in full
power mode except the set-up remote cable is enabled.
Digital Display
A digital display in the operator’s cab shows the operating
conditions, operating limits, and system faults being
monitored by the PC. The information is accessible by
scrolling to the desired display with the display selector scroll
switch.
