Product summary
(2) RS-485 interface terminals, 2-wires method serial interface terminals
Connect the RS-485 interface terminal mainly with a host computer. Refer to “9.1.3.
Wiring of standard RS-485 interface” for more information.
Connect the 2-wires method serial interface terminal mainly with a printer and an external
indicator. Refer to “9.2.3. Wiring of 2-wires method serial interface (S-I/F)” for more
information.
(3) Optional parts mounting section
Analog current output, analog voltage output, BCD output, PROFIBUS, CC-Link, RS-
232C, and RS-422/485 can be mounted. Three slots are available, and you can mount
one optional part in each slot.
POINT
- Only one of PROFIBUS, CC-Link, RS-232C, and RS-422/485 can be mounted.
- You cannot mount more than one piece of the same optional part.
(4) Load cell terminals
Connect the signal line of the weighing device (load cell). Refer to “2.2. Wiring of strain
gage based transducers” for more information.

(5) Protective earth terminal
Connect a grounding wire to eliminate noise including static electricity. The protective
earth terminal is internally linked with the power supply terminal. Refer to “2.3. Power
supply connection” for more information.
(6) External control input/output connector
Connect the external control input/output. The input and the output are available for up to
11 points respectively. Refer to “9.3.1. Wiring of external control input/output” for more
information.
