9.1.4. Modbus communication
The Modbus communication is a serial interface that uses standard RS-485 communication.
It allows data communication with CSD-912B by memory operation, thus eliminating the need
for creating communication protocol programs. To use the Modbus communication, set each

POINT
- For more information about the RS-485 communication setting, refer to "9.1.3.
Communication setting".
- Neither [ADD THE DECIMAL POINT] nor [TERMINATOR] needs to be set as
they do not affect the Modbus communication.
- The standard RS-485 communication and Modbus communication cannot be
linked with optional RS-232C communication, RS-422 communication, or RS-485
communication.
- Set a delay time of 5 ms or more for the host side, such as a PC or a sequencer.

communication memory operation mapping".
