Installation on an E700 series inverter requires an optional
A7A-EKITCVR-SC cover. Please contact your local
distributor for more information.
The included M3x20mm flat head screw is required only
when using the interface card on an E700 safety inverter
with the A7A-EKITCVR-SC extended cover kit. The A7A-
EKITCRV-SC kit includes an M3x20mm pan head screw that
incorporates a captive washer. Due to the additional height
of the captive washer, however, this screw may result in
clearance issues with the overmolding of certain Ethernet
cables connected to the interface card’s “PORT2/OUT”
jack. Therefore, the flat head M3x20mm screw included with
the interface card kit should be used in this scenario to
minimize the possibility of clearance issues.
