7) Assign the Ethernet module a name
(we will use “EIP”) and an IP address,
deselect “Open Module Properties”,
and click OK.

10) Switch to online mode. Right click on
the 1756-ENBT module in the I/O
Configuration and choose
“Properties”.
11) Select the Internet Protocol tab from
the Module Properties dialog box and
confirm that the IP Settings are
configured correctly.
