6.3.6. Velocity and Torque Control by Analog Input
Caution : Individual motors have the maximum rotational velocity. Check the
maximum rotational velocity of the Motor not to exceed its rotational
velocity.
Caution : With the analog input based on the upper limit velocity of the feedback
signal and the resolution of the analog input command, positioning
accuracy may not be expected for positioning operations.
Caution : The parameter AF for analog command voltage offset is not tuned for the
Driver Unit when shipped, so tune the offset after connecting to your
controller.
An input of AIN+/AIN- (analog input) of the CN2 connector (Input/Output) inputs an analog voltage
command to control velocity and torque.
6.3.6.1. Selection of Control Mode
Set the control mode by the parameter SL for control mode selection.
Table 6-13: Control mode
Parameter
Control mode

Torque control mode
SL2
Velocity control mode
SL3
Positon control mode
In the velocity control mode and torque control mode, either RS-232C communication operation or
analog command input operation can be selected.
Operation selection is performed by the parameter AC for analog command input selection.

Parameter
Program
AC 0
Analog command input ineffective, DC command effective
AC 1
Analog command input effective, CW direction at the time of input
polarity + voltage input
AC -1
Analog command input effective, CCW direction at the time of input
polarity + voltage input
