7.4.2.1. Analog Monitor for State of Control Inputs and Outputs Functions
An input of F + Function name (code) of input or output is available to monitor the application state of
a specified function.
For the inputs, the monitor reports how the Driver Unit recognizes the state of specified
function.
For the outputs, the monitor reports the state just before application of the stability timer and the
output logic.
That is, the readout is the state before filtering (stability timer) the output condition.
The readout by each function can be outputted to the analog monitor.
An analog filter is used for the output of analog monitor. As it takes 1 to 2 milli seconds for
filtering to follow a change of digital signal, do not use the analog monitor for the check of
precise input and output signal timing.
For example, the following describes how to monitor the state of SVON input (Servo on)
The monitor FSVON (Function SVON) monitors the state of SVON input. Type MNFSVON if
you wish to output the SVON input on the first analog monitor.

The readout indicates that the default of the monitor center is 0 (MNY0) and the output range
is ± 1 (MNR1). Input the SP key to display the prompt (colon “:”)
By this setting, the analog monitor outputs the state of SVON input: 5 [V] for “effective” and
2.5 [V] for “not effective.”
The format of FSVON/MN is also available for the monitor.
