8.9.2.3. Cancelling Command
An input of a backspace code Backspace (08
H
) cancels a character of the command that has been entered
halfway.
For an example, when the backspace code (08H) is input following a character string of “VG0.5,” the
cursor moves one space back to the position where 5 was input and thereby deletes it.

8.9.2.4. Input of the Password
Some special commands require password entry for preventing erroneous entries.
Input the password as /NSK ON + Carriage return (0D
H
).
The Driver Unit returns“NSK ON”for the acknowledgment.
A command that requires the password can be executed immediately after an entry of the password.
Acknowledgement (from Driver Unit)
Waits for the next command.
