8.8.1. Home Return Operation via the Home Position Sensor
8.8.1.1. Home Return Mode: OS4
The OS4 mode is to reverse the Motor position to the position of the nearest phase Z signal after detection
of rising signal of the input HLS (Home position limit).
The repeatability of the home position is assured regardless of the sensitivity of the home position limit
because the position of the phase Z signal finally determines the home position.
Fig 8-26: Signal timing of Home Return Operation (In case of OS4, DI0 and HD1)
Max. 170 ms (Max. 3.2 s)
Note*
Detection of signal rising edge starts the operation.
Output IPOS
(FW < 0: CFIN)
Output IPOS
(FW > 0: FIN)
Clsed when the tareget position is sucred.
Opens when the target position is lost.
Note*: It requires 3.2 seconds for the first
servo on after the power is on.
1) Turn ON the input SVON (Servo on) to activate the Motor servo.
2) The output SVST (Servo state) closes when the Motor servo activates.
3) Activation of the input HOS (Home Return start) from OFF to ON starts the Home Return
operation.
The Motor starts in the direction set by the parameter HD (Home Return direction) that follows
the current direction setting of scale system.
(The parameters are set to DI0 and HD1 in the above figure.)
The Motor rotates in accordance with the settings of parameter HA (Home Return acceleration),
HB (Home Return deceleration) and HV (Home Return velocity).
