7.4. Analog Monitors
You may monitor the internal state of the Driver Unit by the outputs of MON1 and MON2 (Analog
monitor) on the front panel.
The contents of the monitors are broadly classified into the following two categories.
Nine types of preset monitor
Analog monitors corresponding to the digital monitors via the RS-232C monitor command.
The contents of the monitors are specified by the parameters: the parameter MN (First analog monitor) for
the output MON1 (First analog monitor) and the parameter MX (Second analog monitor) for the output
MON2 (Second analog monitor).
Besides the contents of monitor, you may freely set the output data range and the offset value to the
monitored data.
Table 7-36: Input/output and parameter related to analog monitor
0 to 5 [V] output,2.5 [V] center
0 to 8
Refer to “Table 7-37: Preset analog monitor.”
Or input MN + Monitor code.
First analog monitor range
Data per +2.5 [V]
(Depends in the parameter MN.)
First analog monitor offset
Monitor output when the center is 2.5 [V]...
(Depends on the parameter MN.)
0 to 8
Refer to “Table 7-37: Preset analog monitor.”
Or input MX + Monitor code.
Second analog monitor range
Data per + 2.5 [V]
(Depends on the parameter MX.)
Second analog monitor offset
Monitor output when the center is 2.5[V]...
(Depends on the parameter MX.)
