8.1.3.3. Masking Control Output Function
The example shown below describes how to change the function of input port PI6 from the input STP
(Stop) to the function NONE (Mask function).
1) Input the command MO (Motor off) to deactivate the Motor servo.
2) Specify the input port number with the command PI (Edit input port) to read out setting of the
parameter FN (Port function).
Every input of the SP key displays the parameters AB (Input port polarity) and NW (Anti-
chattering stability timer).
3) Change the function to the NONE (Mask function).
4) For the confirmation, input “?” key when the prompt “?” is on the last line.
Every input of the SP key displays the parameters FN, AB and NW.
5) Input the ENT key to terminate editing when the prompt “?” is on the last line in the screen.
6) Input the command SV (Servo on) to turn on the Motor servo.
