Appendix 3-3: Using MegaTerm
 You can use EDD MegaTerm.
Preparation
 A personal computer with EDD MegaTerm installed
 USB communication cable
Backup by using EDD MegaTerm
 This uses the functions of MegaTerm to save parameters and programs.
1) Connect Driver Unit and personal computer using a USB communication cable.
2) Turn on the power of Driver Unit and personal computer.
3) Start up EDD MegaTerm and click “ .”
4) Confirm the contents using parameter edition screen (Param) and program edition screen (Channel).

5) Select “Save as (A)” from the menu bar.
6) When the dialog box for saving is opened, define the file name and save.
7) Disconnect the communication. Click “ .”
8) Terminate EDD MegaTerm and turn off the power of Driver Unit for completion.
Restoring by EDD MegaTerm
1) Connect Driver Unit and personal computer using a USB communication cable.
2) Turn on the power of Driver Unit and personal computer.
3) Start up EDD MegaTerm and click “ .”
4) Select “Open” in the menu bar. Click “ ” from the dialog box to select the object file, and click
“ ”.
 Confirm that the check box of writing area has been checked.
 For Restoring, the relevant devices have to be in connection.
