3.2 Adjusting syringe water and air flow rates
The water and air flow rates for the syringe are adjusted from the two brass screws located on
the syringe instrument multiplexer block. Both the water and air flows for the syringe can also
be blocked by these screws.
a) Open the instrument console cover by unscrewing the M6x16 DIN 7984 screw from under the
instrument console and open the console cover.
b) Adjust the syringe water flow rate from the water flow rate adjuster on the top of the syringe
instrument multiplexer block. Observe the adjusted flow rate with the syringe instrument.
c) Adjust the syringe air flow rate from the air flow rate adjuster on the instrument arm side of the
syringe instrument multiplexer block. Observe the adjusted flow rate with the syringe
instrument.
3.3 Adjusting coolants to the instruments
The water and air flow rates for each instrument are adjusted in the instrument settings pro-
gram mode. Please refer to the User’s manual (publication part number 288037) for program-
ming the instrument settings.
