Transferring
Waypoints and
Routes
➤ To receive incoming waypoints on SeaTalk or NMEA:
1. To displaythewaypoint listpressMARKS followedby the WAYPOINT LIST
softkey.
Pressthe WAYPOINT TRANSFER soft key.
2. Pressthe soft key RECEIVE WPTS FROM ST/NMEA.
The soft key changes to STOP RECEIVING WAYPOINTS.
When waypoints are transmitted by other equipment they are added to the
waypointlist on the chartplotter. Routestransmitted on NMEA are
appendedto the route list.
3. To disablewaypoint transfer, press the soft key STOP RECEIVING WAY-
POINTS.
Alternatively, press ENTER,orCLEAR, twice to close the Waypoint List.
➤ To sendthe waypoint list on NMEA:
1. Display the waypointlist as previouslydescribed,thenpress the WAY-
POINT TRANSFER soft key.
2. Pressthe soft key SEND WPT LIST ON NMEA.
The soft key changes to STOP SENDING WAYPOINTS.
The waypointand route lists are transmittedfrom the chartplotterto other
instruments on NMEA.
