Different DIP switch settings are required when using the Option Box L or Valve
Interface.
Hardware Connection

Insert the component power cable plug into an AC output connector (AC OUT) on the
system controller.
If the AC output connectors are already being used, insert the component power
cable into an AC output connector (AC OUT) on the back of the fraction collector.

Insert one end of the optical cable provided with the component into the remote
connector (REMOTE) on the component.

Insert the other end of the optical cable into the remote connector on the system
controller. Use the channel number set with the DIP switch.
Connection is performed in the same way for Option Box vp, Option Box L, and
Valve Interface.
