10.3.1 The lock-out operational status
In case of certain faults or an erroneous configuration, the system can go into the lock-
out s
tatus. The 7-segment display on the safety laser scanner then indicates , , ,
, , , , ,  or .
To place the device back in operation, proceed as follows:

ectify the cause of the fault, see "Error and status indications on the 7segment
display", page 102.

Switch off the voltage supply for the device for at least 2 seconds and then switch
it back on.

estart the device using the CDS.
10.4 Advanced diagnostics
The supplied CDS (Configuration & Diagnostic Software) contains extended diagnostic
options. The CDS enables you to isolate the problem if the error situation is unclear or
there are availability issues.
