The
motor closed-loop control
ensures that the motor follows the speed setpoint. You can
select either vector control or V/f control.
Motor control (Page 237)
The
protection and monitoring
functions prevent damage to the motor, inverter and driven
load, e.g. by monitoring the temperature or torque.
Protection functions (Page 262)
The
application-specific
functions control, for example, a motor holding brake – or permit a
higher-level closed-loop pressure or temperature control to be implemented using the
technology controller.
