8.10 Ending a Batch
To end a batch, perform the steps below.
1. Select
State from the batch tag detail.
2. Select
Complete or Abort option for the batch State field (Figure 8-11).

command was e xecuted.
The
Complete option sets the end time for the batch and sends the Done
command to all units currently assigned to the batch. The
Abort option also
sets the end time for the batch and sends the Abort command to all units
currently assigned to the batch. Other functions built into the batch
program by the plant engineer can cause other processes to occur when the
operator selects the
Complete or Abort options.
NOTE: The batch uses OSx resources until Remove is selected for the batch
State. After selecting
Remove, the batch tag is released to the system and is
available for use by another batch. After the
Remove is executed, the
batch ID is removed from the Active Batch D irectory.
