2.1 Displaying OSx Station Commands
With the exception of Re_Sync, the operator must have one of the following
security privileges to issue commands to an OSx station: Database Admin,
System Config, System Start/Shutdown, or Operation. To issue a command
to an OSx station, select
Startup-->Network Setup on the menu bar
(Figure 2-1). Then follow the steps below.
1. Click the listing for the OSx station. The item containing the station
name highlights in reverse video.
2. Click the
Commands... button. The Commands... menu appears
(Figure 2-1).
3. Choose one of the commands from the menu.
When you execute commands from Network Setup, wait for a command to
be complete before selecting another command to execute. Otherwise, the
system may remove the highlight that identifies the station receiving the
first command.
Four commands can be issued to an OSx station:
New_Primary, Re_Sync,
Role_Change,andSwitch_Media. They are described in the following pages.
