Identifying Screen Areas (continued)
OSx provides numerous navigational tools for working in the screen areas
(Figure 1-12). These navigational tools appear as buttons, menus, or slider
switches.
Window Control Menu Callup Click this tool to display a menu of
possible options. Select o ne of the following options by clicking on it or by
pressing the indicated keys:

Restore expandsanicontoawindow.
•
Move allows you to change the position of the w indow.
•
Size allows you to enlarge/reduce the window.
•
Maximize sizes the window to its largest possible size and minimize
reduces the window to an icon.
•
Lower and Raise Up move a window above or below all other windows on
the screen.
•
Refresh causes all information on the screen to be redisplayed.
•
Close dismisses the window.
