Parameter Value Description
phase-to-ground
The triggering is done on the basis of phase-to-ground variables.
phase-to-phase
The triggering is done on the basis of phase-to-phase variables.
Parameter: Phase-selective
Default setting (_:9571:117) Phase-selective = no
With the Phase-selective parameter, you define whether you want to set the threshold values of the level
triggers and of the gradient trigger phase-selectively or not.
Parameter Value Description
no
You do not adjust the threshold values for the level trigger and for the
gradient trigger phase-selectively.
The following threshold values apply to all 3 phases:
Max. (Non-phs sel.)
Min. (Non-phs sel.)
+dM/dt (Non-phs sel.)
-dM/dt (Non-phs sel.)
The phase-selective parameters can be set for each trigger, but are not
effective.
yes
You adjust the threshold values for the level triggers and for the gradient
trigger phase-selectively.
The phase-selective parameters are then in effect for the following triggers:
Max. trigger
Min. trigger
dM/dt rise (/Filter time)
dM/dt drop (/Filter time)
Parameter: Max. active/Max. Trigger/Max. hysteresis
Default setting (_:9571:101) Max. active = yes
Default setting (_:9571:105) Max. (Non-phs sel.) = 120.000 V
Default setting (_:9571:118) Max. phs A(AB) = 120.000 V
Default setting (_:9571:119) Max. phs B(BC) = 120.000 V
Default setting (_:9571:120) Max. phs C(CA) = 120.000 V
Default setting (_:9571:113) Max. hysteresis = 0.980 p.u.
With the Max. active parameter, you activate the level trigger in order to monitor the voltage of the funda-
mental component and prevent it from exceeding the set values.
Parameter Value
Description
yes
The voltage of the fundamental component is monitored for overvoltage.
no
The voltage of the fundamental component is not monitored for over-
voltage.
If the Max. trigger does not operate phase-selectively, the set threshold value of the parameter Max.
(Non-phs sel.) applies to all phases.
If the Max. trigger operates phase-selectively, set the threshold values for the Max. trigger separately
for each phase. Then, the parameters Max. phs A(AB), Max. phs B(BC), and Max. phs C(CA) are
effective.
The hysteresis is preset at the factory to 0.980 p.u. (equal to 2 %) of the parameter Max. (Non-phs sel.)
and can be adjusted.
