6.4.1.7 Export...
Copying the parameters to the file
With the menu command "Switching device" > "Export...", you can copy the currently
displayed parameters to a parameter file.
6.4.1.8 Close
With the menu command "Switching device" > "Close", you exit the function for processing
the current parameters. The menu command has the following effect:
● An opened parameter file is closed.
● An existing online connection to a safety relay is terminated.
● Before you exit the function, you are asked if you want to save any changes you may
have made to parameters or if you want to load them to the safety relay.
6.4.1.9 Information about the print options
Functional prerequisites
The following additional software must be installed to ensure that the advanced print options
function properly: Adobe Reader 7 or 8
Required settings
A default printer must be set up on the target system.
Note
Possible problems with the Adobe Reader Internet update
If you have installed Adobe Reader and then launch it later, a dialog is displayed in which
you can specify whether Adobe Reader is to regularly search the Internet for updates. If you
close the dialog, Adobe Reader starts as normal and does not display this dialog again. It
may be the case that Adobe Reader displays this dialog just as your SIRIUS engineering
program is attempting to display a print preview in Adobe Reader. The Internet update dialog
displayed by Adobe Reader, however, remains hidden behind the print preview dialog
displayed by the SIRIUS engineering program and you see only an empty print preview.
If this happens, press the key combination <Alt> <Tab> until the update dialog displayed by
Adobe Reader appears in the foreground. When you close the dialog, the print preview is
displayed normally.
Print on DIN A3
To print on DIN A3, a DIN A3-capable printer must be installed and defined as the default
printer. To select the DIN A3 format, choose "Switching device" > "Page setup...".
