5.1.5 Expansion module 2/4F-DI 1/2F-RO
Properties
The expansion module 2/4F-DI 1/2F-RO supplements the central unit. It can be used up to
Category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1, SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508, and PL e in
accordance with EN ISO 13849-1:2006.
● Additional expansion modules can be connected to the expansion module
2/4F-DI 1/2F-RO.
● Parameterization is carried out via the central unit with MSS ES.
Inputs and outputs
The expansion module 2/4F-DI 1/2F-RO has the following inputs and outputs:
● 4 safety-related, freely parameterizable sensor inputs
● 2 single-channel, safety-related relay outputs.
