4.5 Wiring the MSS
Wiring
NOTICE
All components, including the light curtain, must be operated on the same power supply.
Step Action Result
1 Connect the central unit to the power
supply with:
• + 24 V to terminal L+
• Ground to terminal M
• Ground to terminal FE

The central unit is supplied with power.
2 Connect the expansion module 2/4 F-DI
2F-DO to the power supply with:
• + 24 V to terminal L+
• Ground to terminal M
Expansion module 2/4 F-DI 2F-DO is supplied with power.
3 Connect the light curtain to the power
supply.
Note:
Please refer here to the operating
instructions for the light curtain.
The light curtain is supplied with power.
4 Connect the EMERGENCY STOP control
device to the central unit of the MSS with:
• NC 1: Terminal T1/IN3
• NC 2: Terminal T2/IN4
