Device error
Possible causes for device errors / self-test errors are:
● Faulty input or output
● Defective module
Group error
The following group errors can be diagnosed:
Message Meaning(s)
Configuration error
1)
• Memory module not plugged in
• SC configuration error
Configuration error
1)
An error occurred during the configuration phase:
• Release denied due to incorrect configuration CRC
• Release canceled due to incorrect configuration release CRC
• Max. number of elements exceeded
• Max. size of memory exceeded
• Program cycle time exceeded
• TARGET≠ACTUAL configuration
• TARGET≠ACTUAL slot configuration
• Invalid parameter value

Wiring fault
2)
Faulty wiring of a sensor connection or in the sensor itself.
Logic error
2)
Protection fault: Processing sequence on the sensor not coherent.
Handshake error An error was detected during connection monitoring in test mode.
Group error from user
program
2)
At least one error from the user program is present.
SC bus error Communication via the device bus interface is interrupted.
Memory module defective Memory module is defective.
Programming error Programming of the memory module was not successful.
Memory module too small More configuration data were transferred to the safety relay than can be
stored in the memory module.
Memory module incorrectly
organized
The memory module was incorrectly formatted, e.g. because it was
inserted in another device. The central unit reformats the memory
module.

Different error causes are possible. The cause is displayed by pressing the right key (OK).
2)
By pressing the right key (OK), the diagnostics module switches directly to the applicable function
in the status menu.
