e device is connected to a reliable ground.
1. To wire for power, strip the cable jacket for approximately 70 mm (2.75") from the end of
the cable, and thread the wires through the gland

2. Connect the wires to the terminals as shown: the polarity is identified below the terminal
block.
3. Ground the device according to local regulations.

If cable is routed through conduit, use only approved suitable-size hubs for waterproof
applications.
Note
For AC power connections:
• The equipment must be protected by a 15 A fuse, or circuit breaker on all current
-carrying
conductors in the building installation.
• A circuit breaker or switch in the building installation, marked as the disconnect switch,
must be in close proximity t
o the equipment and within easy reach of the operator, and must
-carrying conductors.
